Dillon and Latta basketball teams were set to appear in holiday tournaments on Thursday, December 27.
The Dillon boys were scheduled to square off against Anson County in the Farm Bureau Classic at Chesterfield High School. Other scheduled matchups included Central versus Great Falls, Berea versus Lugoff-Elgin, and Loris versus Chesterfield.
The Dillon girls and Latta’s Lady Vikings were set to compete in the Little Caesar’s Invitational at South Florence on Thursday. Dillon was scheduled to face West Florence while Latta was set to take on Scotland County. Timmonsville was scheduled to play against Pee Dee Academy, and South Florence was scheduled to face Carvers Bay.
Regular season play resumes on Tuesday, January 8, for all local teams.
