Lina DuBose

 
Lina Wilkinson DuBose, 89, died Wednesday at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.  She was born in Allendale County November 11, 1923, the daughter of John Gordon Wilkinson, Sr. and Iris Belle Cope Wilkinson.  She graduated from Allendale High School, attended a two year business course at Limestone College and completed one year at Furman University before marrying Ray Curtis DuBose in August 1947.  Lina worked as a bank teller and X-ray technician in Darlington and as a bank teller and school administrative assistant in Dillon.  She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Dillon and was in the Rose Garden Club and an auxiliary member of the Dillon Camp of Gideons.
 
Lina is survived by two daughters, Linda DuBose Price (Richard) of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Iris DuBose Miller (John) of Dillon, a son, Curtis Wilkinson DuBose (Chris) of Greenville, SC, one sister, Myra Wilkinson Gray of Florence, nine grandchildren John Calvin Miller of Columbia, Steven Curtis Price (Comfort) of Bozeman, Montana, Martha Caroline Miller of Bandung, Indonesia, Kris Reneé Price of Silver Spring Maryland, James Curtis Miller (Jennifer) of Louisville, KY, Andrew Curtis DuBose, Jonathan Kamerschen DuBose, Mary Iris DuBose and Melissa Laura DuBose all of Greenville and one great granddaughter, Nivienne Grace Price of Bozeman Montana.
 
The Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Dillon on Sunday, December 30 at 2 p.m. with burial at Cypress Cemetery in Lee County.
