Although the Lake View schedule shows an open slot for September 21, the Wild Gators will be playing varsity football tonight at 6:30 p.m. against Military Magnet in Lake View for their Homecoming game. The Wild Gators are coming off of a 48-12 loss to Socastee last week, while the Eagles claimed a 42-27 win over Stall last Friday.
As previously reported, Dillon will be away at Marlboro County tonight, and Dillon Christian School will be hosting Robert E. Lee Academy at 7:30 p.m.
The Wildcats are undefeated so far this season, while Marlboro is 2-1 after shutting out Chesterfield 39-0 and Cheraw 46-0. The Class 3A Bulldogs fell by just two points, 42-40, to Class 4A’s Conway last week.
The Warriors are 1-4 so far this season and 0-2 in region play, while Robert E. Lee is 0-3. The Cavaliers were shut out 55-0 by Thomas Heyward last week, while DCS fell 14-12 to Laurens Academy in one of their best defensive games of the season.
Latta is off this week, but returns to action on Friday, September 27, at East Clarendon.
