Rebecca “Rosa” Hales, 68, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her residence.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Little Bless Holiness Church in Oak Grove with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, September 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Luther Hunt and Beulah Powers Hunt.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Jo Dlgoda, and Janice Locklear, both of Dillon; grandchildren, Tonyia Lynn (Jose) Gonzalez, Michael Allen (Tina Parker), Jason Lynn Parker, and Robert Franklin Locklear; sister, Estelle Futrell of Dillon; brothers, Fred Hunt of Dillon, and James Frank Hunt of Loris; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; special nieces, Connie Futrell and Kristy Jacobs.
Mrs. Hales was preceded in death by her Pap, Liston Strickland; and her great-grandchild, Miranda Carly Lewellen.
