Services for Edna Earle Cox Grice will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethesda Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Grice, 75, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.

Born in Dillon County, SC, October 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gary C. Cox and Eva Dell McLellan Cox. She was a member of Manning Chapel United Methodist Church, and she retired from Oak River Mills. She loved Face Book.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Johnny Mac) Gasque of Dillon, Debbie G. Cook of Dillon, Joseph Kenneth Grice of Latta, and Michael Kevin (Dawn) Grice of Florence; grandchildren, Johnny Mac, Scotty, Greg and Jennifer Gasque, Brad Grice, Jamie Cook, Tammy G. Hulon, Michael, Nicholas, and Chase Grice; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, John Chesley, Cole, Brook, Connor, Kate, Colin, Payton, Madelyn, Landon, and Layla; brothers, Lester and Charles Cox, both of Latta; sisters, Gladys C. Hucks, Hazel C. Berry, and Shirley C. Shelley, all of Latta, and Cathy C. Bracey of Dillon.

Mrs. Grice was preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Scott Grice; her son, Chesley S. “Buddy” Grice, Jr.; her brothers, G.C. Cox, James Cox, and Albert Cox; her sisters, Evelina C. Britt, Eunice C. Gray; and her son-in-law, Bryan Cook.

Memorials may be made to the Latta Rescue Squad.
