Willie Mae “Billie” Knott Murray, 86, died at Heritage Heathcare at the Pines, Thursday, July 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Graveside, Friday, July 27, 2012, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Oxford, NC. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family. Eakes Funeral Home is assisting in Oxford, NC.
Mrs. Murray was born in Granville County, NC, January 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Arthur Daniel and Ellie Mae Currin Knott. She was the widow of Harry Wilson Murray and a Homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie M. (Ralph) Williams of Lewes, DE and Sandy M. (John) Braddy of Dillon, SC; grandchildren, Jennifer Bracey of Dillon, SC, Dr. Jill Braddy (Will) McLeod of Columbia SC, David (Katie) Braddy of Charleston, SC, Bryan (Lauren) Williams of Wilmington, DE, Andrew (Rita) Williams of Springfield, NJ, and Lt. Brett (Genevieve) Williams of Norfolk, VA; and great grandchildren, Cole Bracey, Sarah Bracey, Brennan, Christian, Keenan, and Bodhi Williams.
