Betty Jean Ford, 71, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at her residence.
Services were held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Mullins, SC, August 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Earl Norris and Marie Wallace Norris. She was a member of Open Door Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Ford of Dillon; children, David Valvano of Dillon, James Wayne Gough (Sandy Moore) of Hartsville, Dr. Timothy Jerome (Shelley) Gough of Memphis, TN, Jerry Lee “Bo” (Kim) Gough, and Lisa (Michael) Hyatt, both of Dillon, Carl (Lori) Ford, Jr. of Fairmont, NC, and Crystal Ford (Mitchell Davis) of Dillon; 11 grandchildren.
