Annie Louise Rouse Sports, 88, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare at the Pines. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Friday, July 13, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mrs. Sports was born in Marion County, September 20, 1923, the daughter of the late McKever and Etta Sports Rouse. She retired from Emerson Electric Company as a Technician. She was a member of Light House Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Byrd of Dillon, SC; three grandchildren, Geneva (Bert) Flowers, Charlie Wayne Byrd, and Thomas Coy Byrd, all of Dillon, SC; two great grandchildren, Dorothy Flowers and Eric Flowers; one great-great grand child, Bryson Flowers; and a special first cousin, Pastor Sarah Jackson.
Mrs. Sports was predeceased by two brothers, two sisters, and one great grand daughter.
