Magnolia Garden Club Celebrates National Garden Week

MAGNOLIA GARDEN CLUB OBSERVES NATIONAL GARDEN WEEK—In honor of National Garden Week, June 3-9, 2012, committee members, Belva Greene and Vicky Simerly placed a lovely arrangement of hydrangeas, pink lantana, and asparagus fern in the Latta Library. The beautiful flowers were grown in the garden of Belva’s daughter-in-law Beth Greene.

LATTA MAYOR NANCY BRIGMAN SIGNS PROCLAMATION FOR NATIONAL GARDEN WEEK—Nancy Brigman, Mayor of Latta, signs the Proclamation for National Garden Week as members of the Magnolia Garden Club, The Dogwood Garden Club, and the Beautification Commission Chairman, Abbott Shelley look on. National Garden Week of June 3, through June 9, 2012, and brings attention to the contributions of garden clubs in our community.
