Softball Playoff Schedule: Latta, Dillon, and Dillon Christian

Dillon’s Lady Wildcats will be at Hanahan tonight to take on the Lady Hawks for the Class AA Lower State title. The Lady Cats will have to defeat Hanahan twice in order to claim the title.
Latta’s Lady Vikings will be hosting the Green Sea-Floyds Trojans for the Class A Lower State title, with game time set for 5:30 p.m. The Lady Trojans will have to defeat Latta twice to earn the title.
Meanwhile, Dillon Christian School’s Lady Warriors will begin the SCISA Class AA State Softball Tournament today at 4:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Softball Complex. The Lady Warriors are in the Upper Bracket. St. John’s Christian Academy will be their first round opponent. The winner will play Marlboro Academy at 6:15 p.m. The loser will face either Dorchester Academy or Cathedral Academy at 8:00 p.m. in the loser bracket.
The playoffs will continue on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove with the bracket championship game at 3:30 p.m. The Championship Series will begin on Monday with the Upper Bracket winner hosting, and continues on Tuesday with the Lower Bracket winner hosting. If a third game is necessary, it will be held at a neutral site on Wednesday.
