Latta’s Lady Vikings advanced through the first round of the Class A Lower State Softball Tournament with a 5-1 win over Johnsonville. Anna Rogers picked up the win on the mound and Tori Grimsley had two hits while Dallas Sweat picked up two RBI.
On Monday at 5:30 p.m., Latta will host the winner of today’s game between Green Sea-Floyds and East Clarendon.
Both Dillon teams play at home tonight at 6:00 p.m., with the boys hosting Bishop England and the girls hosting Andrews in the Class AA Lower State playoffs.
Lake View’s Wild Gators will be at Bamberg-Ehrhardt today at 5:00 p.m. for the first round of the Class A Lower State playoffs.
