Wildcats Improve Soccer Record with Wins Over Marlboro, Aynor

The Dillon Wildcats picked up wins over Marlboro County and Aynor, but were shut out by Waccamaw in recent soccer action.

The Wildcats hosted Marlboro County for a non-conference game on Wednesday, March 21 and picked up a 7-6 win over the Bulldogs.

On Friday, March 23, Dillon traveled to Aynor and picked up another narrow win, topping the Blue Jackets 5-4 to improve their region record to 2-2.

But on Tuesday, March 27, the Wildcats hosted the Waccamaw Warriors and were completely shut out. The Warriors took an 8-0 victory and improved their record to 8-1-1.

Dillon’s record is now 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Region 8-2A.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats were scheduled to take on the Bruins in South Florence, and on Friday, March 30, they’ll travel to Loris to take on the Lions. Dillon returns from spring break on Monday, April 9, when they are scheduled to host Cheraw in a non-league bout.
