The Lady Wild Gators fell 9-3 to Johnsonville on Friday in Lake View.
Lake View scored two runs in the first inning and one in the third to lead 3-0, but Johnsonville tied things up with thee runs in the fourth. The Flashes added one run each in the fifth and sixth to take the lead, and then capped the win.
Morgan Herlong pitched all seven innings for lake view, allowing nine runs, seven earned runs, 12 hits, and one hit by pitch, striking out five. Ashley Hanna picked up the win for Johnsonville, pitching all seven innings with three runs, one earned run, five hits, and five outs.
Alyssa Hinson went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Annsley Mace went 3-for-4 with one RBI to lead Johnsonville at bat. Marley Young went 2-for-3 with an RBI; Kayla Ard went 2-for-4; and Mikayla Thornhill went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Kayla Sanderson led Lake View at bat, going 2-for-4.
