McWhite Earns Honors as Vikings Defeat Marion

Michael McWhite earned co-medalist honors as he led the Latta Vikings golfers over the Marion Swamp Foxes on Tuesday, March 13, at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club.

Latta earned a team total of 189 with McWhite scoring a 39. Josh Mitchell shot a 49, Smith Gaddy shot 47, and Cody Hyatt finished with a 54.

Marion earned a 195, with Phillip White earning co-medalist honors with a 39. Caleb Cooke shot a 47, Brandon Erwin scored 52, and Tyler McKenzie earned a 57.

Latta’s golf record improves to 2-1 for the season as the Vikings travel to play Hannah-Pamplico and Lake City at The Crossing Golf Course today at 4:15 p.m.
