Lake View’s Lady Wild Gators fell 7-4 to Green Sea-Floyds on Wednesday, March 7, in their season opener.
Morgan Herlong got two hits and scored two runs for the Wild Gators, and Kayla Sanderson got three hits with two RBIs to lead Lake View at bat. Herlong took the loss on the mound.
Hope Elliot was the winning pitcher for the Trojans.
The Wild Gators start the regular season at 0-1 with an 0-1 record in Region 8A.
Lake View travels tonight to face Green Sea-Floyds again at 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday, they’ll travel to South Robeson to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m., and on Friday the Lady Wild Gators will host Johnsonville.
