Dillon Christian School’s Lady Warriors fell to The King’s Academy Lions 54-31 on Tuesday in Dillon.
Both teams added eight points in the first quarter, but the Lions took control in the second as they outscored DCS 20-5. King’s went 13-8 and 13-10 over the Warriors in the second half to claim the win.
Addie Bokelman and Anna Van Baaren each scored 11 points to lead the Lions. Shannon Edmunds scored 10, Taylor Weatherford earned eight, Sara Parks and Lisa Van Baaren each scored four, and Kailee Murray added two.
Lauren Lee led DCS with a game-high 17 points. Amanda Bass added 10, and Kylee Sullivan earned four.
The Warriors fall to 2-15 overall and 2-7 in SCISA Region 4-AA. They will host Byrnes this Friday at 6:00 p.m.
