Thanksgiving, Black Friday Shoppers Patronize Local Stores

Thanksgiving and Black Friday shoppers patronized local stores this year. Wal-Mart opened its doors at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night to droves of shoppers anxious to take advantage of various specials. People also lined up outside of Radio Shack at 5:30 a.m. and Goody’s at 6 a.m. on Friday to grab great deals. Also on Thursday, Family Dollar, Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS all opened in the morning for those who wanted to get an early start on their shopping. Shown are photos from the various stores taken by Johnnie Daniels/The Dillon Herald.
