After verbally committing to a scholarship offer from the University of South Carolina in August of 2010, Dillon High School’s Jamie Callahan officially signed on with the Gamecocks on Wednesday, November 9.

Callahan is a senior right-handed pitcher for the Wildcats, and has long been considered one of the top prospects in the Southeast. Earlier this year he attended Pro Day where he was one of the top three pitchers, topping out at 92 MPH. He was named All State and All Region this season, and was picked to pitch in the Under Armour® All-America baseball game over the summer at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.
