Lauren Lee and Courtney Miller led the Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors to another victory on Thursday as they downed the Byrnes School Trojans 3-1.
Dillon Christian took the first set 25-16, but slipped in the second, allowing Byrnes to finish game two 16-25. But the Lady Warriors rallied to claim the final two sets with scores of 25-16 and 25-15.
Lee and Miller led the way, with Lee earning 13 kills, two assists, and two aces, and Miller making 19 assists, 11 aces, and two kills. Kathryn Brown added nine kills and two aces in the victory, and Frances stephens made six kills, three aces,and one assist. Kylee Sullivan also earned three kills, two aces, one assist, and one dig.
Dillon Christian improves to 8-6 overall and 7-3 in the region. Tonight the Lady Warriors will travel to Pee Dee Academy for varsity and junior varsity matches beginning at 4:00 p.m. On Thursday, they’ll be back at home to host Carolina Academy at 4:00 p.m.
