Mary Lois Wiggins Wallace

Services for Mary Lois Wiggins Wallace will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wallace, 82, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.

Born in Dillon County, April 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Elias Pearl Wiggins and Jo Rebecca Smith Wiggins. She was a member of Dothan Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late James Ray Wallace.

Survivors include her sons, James Ray (Chris) Wallace of Flint, Michigan, Tommy W. (Corinne) Wallace, and Percy Lafon (Faye) Wallace, both of Little Rock; son-in-law, Malcolm Lafon Woodle of Latta; grandchildren, Lois Ann Wallace, Jennifer Lupo, James Andrew Wallace, Malcolm Woodle, Jr., Seth Thomas Wallace, Caleb Robert Wallace, Kyle Elias Wallace, and Ethan Samuel Wallace; great-grandchildren, D.J. and R.J. Woodle, Caden and Hannah Wallace; sisters, Janie Stevens of Fayetteville, NC, Lucille Huggins and Winnie Stanton, both of Dillon.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Emily Woodle and Lois Elizabeth Wallace; grandson, Hamer Ray Wallace; and her brothers and sisters, Annie Moody, Ruby Moody, Neva Moody, Paul Wiggins, Christine Bowen, Norman, Robert, and Billy Wiggins, and Jean Branch.
