Services for John David Price will be held 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Beulah Baptist Church with entombment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Price, 73, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, January 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Jefferson Wheeler Price, Sr. and Jeanette Barfield Price. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, and was retired from ESAB.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Romine Price of Little Rock; children, Linda Ann Price of Little Rock, Richard Todd (Crystal) Price of Georgia, Gail Marie Davis, and Tiffany Marie Price, both of Little Rock; brother, Jefferson Wheeler (Joann) Price, Jr. of Hamer; sisters, Margaret (Henry) Berry of Hamer, Mildred (Paul) Cruise of Mississippi, and Paulette (Wayne) Small of Dillon; cousin and best friend, William Henry Hayes of Charlotte, NC; brother-in-law, William A. Romine and his children, George Allen & Sarah Romine of Jacksonville, NC; granddaughter, Raven Todd Price; numerous nieces and nephews.
