Millie C. Campbell, 76, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at the McLeod Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Columbus County, NC, October 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Marzie Cribbs and Aviah Barnes Cribbs. She was the widow of the late Robert Campbell they were married 51 years, was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and was a farmer.
Survivors include her sons, Robbie (Joyce) Campbell and Eddie Campbell, all of Hamer; grandchildren, Daniel Campbell, Pamela Norton, and Jackie Emanuel; great-grandchildren, Katie Roberts, Seth Roberts, and Taylor Emanuel; brothers, E.M. (Mary Beth) Cribbs of Dillon, C.T. Cribbs of Hamer, Jimmy Cribbs of Chadbourn, NC, and LeGrand Cribbs of High Point, NC.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Rogers; and brothers, Bruce Cribbs, Sidney Cribbs, Eldrod Cribbs, Alexander Cribbs.
