Justin “JT” Townsend, 25, died Monday, January 24, 2011. Funeral services will be Friday, January 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View, SC. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Justin was born in Marion County on July 1, 1985, the son of Guy L. Townsend, Jr. and Lisa Sanderson Townsend. Justin was a member of Bermuda Baptist Church, Dillon, SC. Justin played football and graduated from Lake View High School. Surviving Mr. Townsend is his father, Guy L. Townsend, Jr. (Karen) of Mullins, SC; mother, Lisa Sanderson Townsend (Jerry Page) of Lake View, SC; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Townsend of Dillon, SC; maternal grandmother, Earlene Sanderson of Lake View, SC; brothers, Guy “Dobbin” Townsend, III of Lake View and Cody and Zack Altman of Mullins, SC; sisters, Kim Miller (Drake Henderson) of Mullins, SC and Heather Altman of Bayboro, SC; nieces and nephews, Bryson Miller, Bailey Altman, Shayna and Layla Hammond and special friends, the Kissam Family and Samantha Strickland.
