Services for Marie Daniels Bailey will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service, and at other times at the home of Frances Tyler, 1409 E. Washington St., Dillon.
Mrs. Bailey, 90, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Pines Nursing Home.
Born in Robeson County, NC, August 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Harley Daniels and Jane Huggins Daniels. She was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church, and was the widow of the late William M. Bailey.
Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Frances (Cecil) Tyler of Dillon; step-daughter-in-law, Lottie S. Bailey of Florence; granddaughter, Dawn Tyler Herring of Dillon; greatgrandchildren, Tyler (Katie) Hutto of Dillon, Brittany Herring of Florence; great-great-grandchildren, Matthew Hutto and Noah Hutto of Dillon; step-grandchildren, Clifford (Kris) Bailey of Florence; step-great-great-grandchildren, Jessica Lawess of Hawaii, and Amber Rettell of Florence.
