Jody Lester Simpson, 46, died at his home December 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Kannaday Funeral Home 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday December 27, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Kannaday Funeral Home.
Mr. Simpson was born July 24, 1964, in Florence, SC, the son of Vida Young and Lester Simpson. He was of the Holiness faith and was employed with Smurfit – Stone as a Shipping Clerk.
He is survived by his mother, Vida Simpson of Dillon, SC, and his father Lester (Joan) Simpson of Wyandotte, Mich; his girlfriend April Lattymer of Dillon, SC; sons, Charles “Chad” Simpson of Dillon, SC, and Cody Davis Simpson of Oakridge, TN; daughter Amber La’Ree Simpson of Dillon, SC, and their mother Pamela Simpson of Oakridge, TN; son Weslee Rock Lattymer, of Dillon, SC; brother Jeffery (Betty Jo) Simpson of Dillon, SC. He was predeceased by a brother Charles “Ricky” Simpson.
