Services for Gail Shelton will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shelton, 62, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, June 22, 1948, she was the daughter of Virgie M. Hayes and the late Julius Jack Hayes. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, George C. Shelton of Dillon; sons, Robby (Tamara) Sloan of Florence, and Brad (Courtney) Sloan of Greenville, SC; mother, Virgie M. Hayes of Dillon; step-children, Lynn Gannon of Wilmington, NC, Tammi McConnell of Charlotte, NC, and Lonnie Shelton of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Ronald Hayes of Florence, Donald Hayes, Mackie Hayes, and Jackie Hayes, all of Dillon; grandchildren, Bobby, Aria, Brailey, Caelin, Brittany, Anna Perry, and Clayton Sloan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1785 Old Hamer Rd., Hamer, SC 29547.
