Ronald Edwin Barrentine, 57, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 22 in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sardis Batpsti Church Cemetery.
Born in Dillon County, July 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Ervin Barrentine and Blanche Turner Barrentine. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Feagin of Lexington; sisters, Linda (Thomas) Monahan of Lugoff, Carol (Luke) Rising of Columbia, and Sandra Dial of Florence; grandchildren, Victoria Feagin, Jamie “Jamie” Feagin; great-grandchild, Gage Johnston.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Rev. Melvin Barrentine; and a sister; Priscilla Barrentine Hayes.
