Mr. Nick Carter died Sunday, November 07, 2010 at his home in Fork, SC after an illness.
Funeral Services wereTuesday, November 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Fork Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Monday, November 8, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Carter was born October 17, 1923 in Dillon County, SC, the son of the late Owen and Fronie Gray Carter. Mr. Carter was a veteran of the US Army during World War II. He was a member of Fork Baptist Church.
Mr. Carter is survived by his son, Sammy Carter of the home; daughters, Paulette Jones of Lake View, Wanda Bryant (Charles Wayne) of Lake View, and Landis Clark (Joseph Franklin) of Fork; one grandson, Lance Clark and one granddaughter, Danielle Jones Price and one sister, Miriam Carter Ivey of Lake View.
Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Lannie Mae Carter; daughter, Bonnie Carter Rouse and granddaughter, Ivey Page Rouse.
