Two Sentenced In Stutts Murder

Two people were sentenced in the August 2009 murder of 75-year-old Mary Alice Stutts of Dillon on Thursday.

After being found guilty by a jury, Lorenzo Inman, age 20, was sentenced to the following:

Murder- Remainder of his natural life

Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a violent crime-5 years

Burglary First-Remainder of his natural life

Armed Robbery-30 years

Kidnapping-30 years

Grand Larceny-10 years

Criminal Conspiracy-5 years

Failure to stop for a blue light-3 years

John Henry Bridges, Jr., age 16, pled guilty earlier this week and was sentenced to the following on Thursday:

Murder-40 years

Armed Robbery-30 years concurrent

Burglary First-30 years concurrent

Kidnapping-30 years concurrent

Grand Larceny-10 years concurrent

Criminal Conspiracy-5 years concurrent

Possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime-5 years consecutive
