The Dillon County Election Commission has moved the Gaddy’s Mill precinct. The new voting location will be Union Methodist Church located at 2738 Gaddy’s Mill Road and will be used beginning with the General Election on November 2, 2010, and until further notice.
This move became necessary when the owner of the Lupo store, which was the previous voting location, requested that it be moved. There will be signs posted at both the old and new sites to avoid any confusion.
The Election Commission regrets any inconvenience but had no prior knowledge of the change before official precinct locations were announced in The Herald.
