Latta Eliminated from State Volleyball Playoffs

The volleyball season officially came to a close for Latta on Monday night after a hard fought match against the Governor’s School in the first round of the Class A playoffs.

Latta won the opening game of the four set match 20-25, but the next three games went to the Governor’s School with scores of 25-18, 25-13, and 25-17.

A.B. Love and Charise Braddy handed out assists all night with Love making 52 and Braddy making another 47. Love also made 18 kills and three aces.

Hannah Jackson made 25 kills and three blocks. Stephanie Bethea made 12 kills and four digs, and Brittani owens made four aces.

Latta ended its season with a 6-14 record.
