JV Martin Ties School Record for Win Streak

Dillon’s J V Martin football team has tied the school record for consecutive win streak with their 18th win.

The Wildcats defeated the Palmetto Bulldogs of Mullins on Wednesday, September 8, by a score of 32- 0.

The Wildcats rushed for 130 yards and threw for 64. Quarterback Omar McCollum found a streaking Hykeen McKoy down the sideline for a 54 yard touchdown pass to open the scoring, with McCollum adding the extra points.

The Wildcats second score came when Erireon Hayes broke loose for a 39 yard touchdown run with Avery McCall adding the extra points.

McCollum then threw a 10 yard pass to Avery for the Wildcats third touchdown of the half with Erireon adding the extra points.

The final touchdown came on a 3 yard run by Avery McCall with the extra points added by Isaiah Williams.

Wildcats were led on defense by a gang of Wildcats as 22 different players recorded a tackle.

The Wildcats next travel to Southside Middle School in Florence on Wednesday, September 15.
