Services for Nancy B. Hayes will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rogers Cemetery in McColl. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hayes, 63, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, September 25, 1946, she was the daughter of Elvin Bailey and the late Luberta Davis Bailey. She attended Dillon Freewill Baptist Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her son, Billy N. (Dorothy) Chestnut of Dillon; father, Elvin Bailey of Fairmont, NC; brothers, Eldon (Darlene) Bailey of Fairmont, and Edward Bailey of Castalia, NC; sisters, Diane Rogers, Nyoka (William) Byrd, and Martha (Timmy) Thomas, all of Fairmont, NC; grandchildren, Billy Nelson Chestnut, Jr. of Lake View, Tiffany Nicole Chestnut of Bennettsville, Makayla Nancy Chestnut, and Chase McDougald, both of Dillon; a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
