Frank Hardwick, 71, of Orange Park, FL passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
He was born on June 4, 1938 in Hamer, SC to parents Andrew and Nola Hardwick. Mr. Hardwick honorably served his county in the United States Navy and retired after 25 years of service as a Petty Officer First Class.
Frank moved to the local area in 1979 from Patuxent River, MD.
He was a member of the local VFW in Orange Park, FL.
Mr. Hardwick has left behind many friends and family, in and out of the state of Florida.
He is survived by his sons, Terry (Theresa) and Michael (Amanda) Hardwick; daughter, Wanda (Jim) Mathews; brothers, Wesley (Elsie), Marion (Linda) and Jimmy (Janice) Hardwick; sisters, Carolyn “Faye” (O’Neal) Oates and Margaret Rich; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
Inurnment at Jacksonville National Cemetery with the rendering of military honors will be held at a later date.
